Mike Shannon is my name,
making movies and anything computer science is my game. Love it
or leave it, this is my bio.
I was born here in San Diego and can't complain about
the weather or the girls. I am 24 and time goes by way
to fast.
I like to film, surf a little bit, run a little bit, eat lots
of pasta (with red sauce), make music, movies and lift weights once in a while.
Speaking of filming: all the films I do are with just one
camera and one computer. Although, I think this will change in the future because I'm moving towards the HD format (High Definition Video) and I will most likely end up with a cluster of computers all zombied out that calculate massive parallel tasks to satisfy my movie rendering demands.
I have a bachelors degree in computer science from Cal State
San Marcos and I now have my MBA from San Diego State University.
While at Cal State San Marcos, I ran the Athletics website for three and a half
years as well as the Campus Police deparmtnet website for 2 years.
Currently (and during my time at SDSU) I'm involved in a parternship business that specializes in web hosting for attorneys and another small partnership that connects people to attorneys. I have also had my California Real Estate
license since the fall of 2002 and plan on getting my brokers license very soon.
I really like to make movies and special effects and someday
I would love to get a job in the movie
